Description
7.62x54R M39 ammunition. It has a 124 grain, steel core, copper plated projectile with a moly type coating for identification. It has a higher velocity and a lighter recoil than standard 149 grain ball. The projectile is very similar to the 7.62×39 German M43. This ammunition is often used for training because of it’s lighter recoil. Production dates are 80’s, early 90’s. Not sure if it is corrosive or non-corrosive. Limited quantity. A small amount of this ammunition came into the country about 20 years ago.
